Program Details:
The goal of Focused Path’s ADHD Skills Group is to support success among students with ADHD by offering a space where they can explore the complexities of ADHD to better understand themselves and how their ADHD impacts their learning.
We welcome students into a supportive community where ADHD is normalized and isolation is replaced by connection, while providing the essential executive functioning skills students need to thrive in post-secondary and beyond.
Through a combination of mini-workshops, facilitated group discussions, and semi-structured group consultation, students develop essential academic skills and strategies while benefiting from the mutual support of their peers. This collaborative space encourages members to share their unique experiences and strategies, providing a sense of inclusion and shared motivation that helps everyone thrive together.
Who is the group for? An ADHD diagnosis is not required for participation; the group is designed for students who:
Are new to the post-secondary learning environment
Have been newly diagnosed with ADHD
Are exploring a possible ADHD diagnosis
Are struggling academically and/or would benefit from developing their Executive Functioning skills.
Are returning to school after a significant gap in time
